The Kite Runner
OK - this one is a tear jerker. I’m as solemn as they come but even this movie had me balling.
I heard about The Kite Runner awhile ago and then it just kind of disappeared. Funny how the good movies go silent huh?
Originally a book of the same title, the film shows a glimpse of life in the middle east and how two friends cope with the events that confront them.
Though a fictional tale, I have to believe some of what you see in the film is semi-autobiographical. Its a great example of a terrific movie and how powerful films can be.
